NOTICE: For some reason the music and sfx don't play until you first move the volume controls (accessed via the settings cog)

How to play:

  • W A S D to move
  • Spacebar to dash
  • Scroll wheel to zoom in/out

It's time to gather pearls while not being engulfed in darkness, poked by pufferfish or stabbed by an angry moonfish!

There is a light-bar and to keep your vision clear you will need to collect glowing starfish.
Be careful tho! The moonfish chasing you will be dropping decoys that slow you down!

To gather big points you need to find pearls that spawn in one of the three clams across the level while avoiding hazards.
You have 3 lives and it's about getting as high of a score as possible!

Note:

We ran out of time and didn't have time to make this information be in game amongst some other things we would have loved to add, (even writing this description with 10 mins left to submit)

The level design was the last thing we were working on so please keep in mind it doesn't have the composition we would have wanted yet!

All art made by Delphia tradtionally by hand using coloured pencils.

Cute game! It seems that being poked is inevitable...

I tried to turn around and kiss the chasing fish haha.

I wished there is more terrain in the game, and that it is more spacious in the coming iterations of the game (if any)

Keep going!

Comment from my review :

Hello!

Congrats on this work! I really appreciated the immersion I felt while playing. It was super relaxing, and the music played a big role in that, it really made me feel like I was deep in the ocean. The graphics are also really cool!

At first, I thought it would be a game like Angry Shark, but it turned out to be something completely different! The gameplay is easy to pick up and very intuitive.

As for an improvement, maybe adding a full-screen option could be nice (unless I missed the key for it, or you simply didn’t have time to include it).  Also, it fit the jam theme for me !
